Add-on Modules

ipLegion has a modular architecture, with dedicated add-on modules working together to assess, analyze, manage and monitor possible threats. Available add-on modules include remote and local discovery, with or without credentials, in attacks bruteforcing weak passwords, local policies compliance and more. Additional modules can be added or designed according on the specific requirements of the Customer.

Asset Discovery and Management (ADM) is a specific ipLegion module. It was designed to find passively known and unknown devices, while building a complete digital asset archive immediately associated with related vulnerabilities, risks level and factors, and possible remediation plans and status. It also enables Security Administrators to be in control of all authorized and unauthorized device appearances on the Corporate network. ipLegion ADM contributes to automatically verify the compliance of any digital asset to the Company Security Standards, integrating and feeding the possible Asset Management process already in action.

Emaze ipLegion represents the most malleable Risk and Vulnerability Management platform on the market, granting an easy integration with the Customers' own technologies and security data sources. In order to address explicitly to the Enterprise needs, ipLegion supports strong characterization, where "connectors" and security checks for the Customer's ad hoc or specific applications can be developed in a fully integrated manner.

ADM allows:

  • digital assets clientless discovery;
  • configuration of alerting;
  • data import and export towards external systems.

Clientless Discovery

The discovery function allows to:

  • view the list of unknown assets and device;
  • view and modify each asset associated information;
  • point out new hosts in IT infrastructure, passively and continuously;
  • point out new hosts and automatic asset inlay within asset management module;
  • manage (inlay, modify and delete) useful info to describe assets;
  • organize network sections by asset priority (eg. VLAN, domain, process, etc);
  • draw summary or detailed reports for each apparatus analyzed.

Alerting

Alerting functions allows to:

  • be notified with events such as pointing out online and offline hosts, as well as the fulfillment of Vulnerability Assessment activities;
  • forward email following events generated by Asset Management module;
  • high flexibility on addressees, text content, alerting boundaries.

Import/Export

Import Export functions allows to:

  • existing assets database import, that can be customized to match the company's needs;
  • CSV: asset data related export;
  • export by other formats, such as: PDF, DOC, XML.
